About the session: Codesigning Foresight Games
Games are a powerful medium for exploring possible futures but they can be intimidating to design. Randy has designed dozens of games, often in collaboration with large organizations like the UN or WEF. In this talk, he'll present the collaborative design process he uses for creating foresight games that are fun and effective. He'll walk through the steps of the design process, calling out how to derisk the game and keep the team aligned. Along the way, he'll share specific advice on when to use different design patterns; how to empower stakeholders to contribute, even if it's their first time designing a game; and how to help facilitators successfully run the game.
