About the Event
About the 2nd Session:
We’re excited to welcome you back for the second session of our reading club as we continue our deep dive into Design for the Pluriverse: Radical Interdependence, Autonomy, and the Making of Worlds by Arturo Escobar.
In our first session, we laid the foundation by exploring the first section of the book. The participants from different parts of the world shared their experience of how the “dominant” design principles have affected their respective landscape and shared examples of the emergence of local narratives. Today, we pick up the thread and move further into the heart of the pluriverse — a world where many worlds coexist.
In the second session, we will continue the conversation in the next two parts of the book. Whether you’re here to explore new perspectives or to challenge conventional design narratives, we invite you to bring your curiosity, questions, and reflections to this collective space of learning and unlearning.
Let’s continue building this pluriversal dialogue together.
Additional Note:
If you are interested in contributing to the ongoing development of the reading club, we invite you to join the session and we will extend 15 mins after the session for a brief Q&A.
