About the Event
Participate in the one-of-a-kind APF webinar focused on youth foresight, where you'll have the opportunity to engage with remarkable young foresight practitioners from across the globe and the organizations devoted to supporting their growth. By providing these young visionaries a stage to share their insights, we aim to uncover their perspectives on the future, explore the essence of meaningful youth engagement in foresight, and promote increased inclusivity for young voices in this field. It is our mission to ensure that at least some of you will leave the event committed to engaging young people in foresight, and a little clearer on how to do it well!
Program:
- Panel: Join a panel with young foresight practitioners Siddhi Patil representing SOIF, Tia representing Teach the Future, and Nourhan Badr El Din representing UNICEF Innocenti, moderated by youth foresight specialist and APF member Adam Sharpe. Learn from young people about their experience in foresight thus far, what draws them to the field (and pushes them away!), and how they see the future.
- Project showcase: Join one of three breakout rooms dedicated to the youth foresight work of either Teach the Future, SOIF, or UNICEF Innocenti. Here you can speak directly with our aforementioned young foresight practitioners as well as institutional representatives including Peter Bishop the Founder and Executive Director of Teach the Future, Abi Nokes the Director of Networks at SOIF, and Shai Naides the Youth Engagement Manager at UNICEF Innocenti.
- Mapping the future: Come back together to co-create a map of the futures of youth foresight, facilitated by Adam Sharpe.
