"The Praxis of Professional Futurists": Models, Methods and Tools
WHAT: The Association of Professional Futurists will host its first ProDev in Latin America entitled, "The Praxis of Professional Futurists." The workshop will start on Monday the 9th at 7:00 pm and continue through Tuesday, September 10th until 4:30 pm. This ProDev precedes the first World Conference of the World Futures Studies Federation (WFSF) to be held in Latin America, starting 7:00 pm Tuesday the 10th, and concluding Friday the 13th at 2 pm. https://www.wfsfconferencemexico.org
THEME: Our ProDev theme is "The Praxis of Professional Futurists: Models, Methods and Tools." Praxis refers to the process by which a theory, lesson or skill is enacted, practiced, embodied or realized. Through a combination of presentations, panels, sector networking and case studies, we will explore how foresight professionals practice their craft as both organizational and consulting futurists.

APF will provide land transportation from Mexico City International Airport (MEX) from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Monday, September 9th to WFSF conference hotels near UNAM. A valid passport is required for all participants entering Mexico.
APF at WFSF:
APF will host "town hall" meetings for member networking during the WFSF Conference from 8:00 - 9:30 am, Thursday and Friday, September 12th and 13th. Members are welcome to bring WFSF guests.
