On March 18th, Moody's Investors Service downgraded its outlook for the higher education sector from stable to negative, predicting widespread instability as a result of the new coronavirus. Colleges will face "unprecedented enrollment uncertainty" headed into the next fiscal year as the virus and the disease it causes, COVID-19, throws the United States into economic turmoil, the credit rating agency wrote. In this climate, what is the long-term outlook for the future of higher education?

APF's is pleased to announced it's next First Friday All-Member MeetUp on Friday, May 1st, at 12:00 noon & 5:00 pm London time. We will ask: "How will COVID-19 impact trends that are transforming higher education for 2030 and beyond?

Futurist and higher education expert Bryan Alexander, will draw from his latest book, Academia Next, to explore the futures of higher education.  APF Chair, Jay Gary, will host the event.

This is a members-only event. The meeting will last 60 minutes, and include discussion about the use of futures methods and foresight practices during this global Coronavirus pandemic.
