Jay GaryI have exchanged over 80 messages from APF's new online member platform this past five weeks. I've made new connections with professional futurists from South Korea, Ireland, Brazil, South Africa, Canada, Italy, UK, Germany, and Turkey. On top of that APF's launch team has re-energized the front-end website, with weekly news, APF member podcasts, and a pan-futures community calendar. As an APF member you can proudly say that you are part of the most diverse and talented group of foresight professionals on this planet. - Jay Gary

Fifty days ago APF launched a new online platform that combined our front-end public website with our back-end member-only community.
Catch this 2-minute launch video that shows you the "LinkedIn" type features of the new APF. The new platform unites all our online resources, including your member profile, our public website, weekly news, events, social networking, career center, discussion forums, and regional groups. To date 60% of our members have logged in. Every day when you visit you will find "Your Feed" full of activity from your connections.

Don't miss out on the new APF, where your membership means multiplying your social contacts with foresight professionals to advance your career and impact. To date Cindy Frewen has made 206 connections; Bryan Alexander has posted 15 times, either to his own Feed, or to the community wide APF Forum. To login type your email as your username on this Password Reset page.  Then walk through our "10 Steps to Get Started" handout, and load our mobile app onto your Android or iPhone.

With our new platform, renewal notices for most APF members have gone out, given most folks have a renewal date of July 1st. We now can receive membership payments from any source: credit cards, debit, ACH payments and PayPal. In launching our new system we disconnected previous "reoccurring payments" set in PayPal. To renew, you should login into our new system. Under your name, top right, on our main web page click 'Account + Settings', and then look for the 'Payments & History' tab. You can renew your membership directly via our secure server.

Join APF in Mexico City as we host our first ProDev in Latin America, Sept 9-10th. Our theme is "The Praxis of Professional Futurists." Through a combination of presentations, panels, sector networking and case studies, we will explore how foresight professionals practice their craft as both organizational and consulting futurists. This ProDev workshop precedes the 23rd World Conference of World Futures Studies Federation (WFSF). The conference, Sept 10-13th is hosted by WFSF and sponsored by APF. More than 130 sessions are scheduled, with 20 APF members presenting. As an APF member you are entitled to register for WFSF at their related institution member prices. Imagine networking with academic and professional futurists from across the Americas, from Canada to Argentina. Register in June and save 30% off APF's ProDev fee.

Our next APF CONNECT for new members is Wed. July 10th, at 4:00 pm, New York time. If you joined APF recently, you are welcome to attend this virtual gathering hosted by APF Board members. Register today at:

Thanks to your involvement, APF is strong. We are the leading credentialing organization for foresight professionals. Be proud that you are part of a global community that works the future– for everyone, everywhere.
